Thanks for coming to my corner of the internets (silly sounding plurality intended.) At the end of the day, I am simply a girl living her thoughts out loud. These thoughts are the result of my life experiences, both past and present, that I somehow deem worthy of sharing with the world. The level of worthiness on most days is likely measured by my emotions of the moment. However, I also greatly rely on the prompting to share thoughts that will hopefully help another soul traveling through similar circumstances in life.
I am a walking conundrum. A Florida girl born and bred who comes alive with a tan, now living in the mountains of the Carolinas where my soul finds rest. My greatest joy, and sorrow, in life is being a mother to the most beautiful humans our Creator brought into this world. The joy of motherhood stems from being in their presence and knowing that in whatever small way I could be used, was able to steward their willful and passionate spirits. The sorrow, which anyone with offspring can share with you, is the excruciating reality that they only fit into your arms for so long before you must release them to fly far before you feel their wings are truly ready for flight. In addition to these beautiful souls, I am blessed with a loud and lively Hispanic man to raise my family alongside as we learn and grow out of our own upbringing, which while full of love, was also ripe with lessons to learn on how NOT to carry forward generational characteristics never intended to be a part of life’s journey.
